Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain X++ customizations and extensions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Build and maintain data entities, custom forms, and business logic to support functional requirements
- Develop SSRS reports and support integration requirements between D365 F&O and external systems
- Manage build pipelines, environment setup, and deployments using Lifecycle Services (LCS)
- Lead technical design discussions and review customization approaches proposed by junior developers
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across development, testing, and production environments
- Collaborate closely with functional consultants to ensure technical solutions align with business requirements
- Mentor junior technical team members on X++ development standards and best practices
Requirements & Skills
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations technical development
- Expert-level proficiency in X++ programming, including extensions, event handlers, and customizations
- Strong experience working with data entities, OData services, and D365 F&O integration patterns
- Hands-on experience with SSRS report development within the D365 F&O environment
- Practical knowledge of Lifecycle Services (LCS) for build, deployment, and environment management
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills across technical and functional layers
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to the technical workstream of a full D365 F&O implementation
- Good communication skills to coordinate with functional teams, architects, and client technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience leading technical delivery on at least one complete D365 F&O implementation
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer certification is highly preferred
- Experience working in on-site, client-facing technical lead roles is an added advantage
