Editorial policy & AI-use disclosure

How we write, and what a machine did.

Who writes

Every article carries a named author who does the work described. Credentials are stated on the page: years in the discipline, relevant certifications, and how many engagements at OMAV they have scoped or delivered. If a piece draws on someone else's engagement, that person is credited.

Where AI is used

Machines process crawl exports, server logs and configuration dumps; they generate schema and run comparisons; they help with structure and copy-editing. Machines do not decide what we recommend. The argument, the judgement and the sign-off on every article are the named author's, and they can defend it in a meeting.

Sources and evidence

Claims are sourced. Where evidence comes from our own engagements it is labelled as first-hand and anonymised — client names appear only with written permission. Where we are stating an opinion rather than a finding, the page says so.

Corrections

Published and last-updated dates are shown on every article. If we get something wrong, we correct the page and say what changed.
