Role Overview
OMAV Technology is hiring a D365 Technical Lead with eight or more years of experience to guide our on-site technical team in Gurgaon across X++ and Power Platform projects. Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across X++ development and Power Platform project workstreams
- Plan and distribute technical tasks among team members, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Conduct code reviews and enforce technical standards across both X++ and Power Platform development
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for on-site client discussions and requirement clarification
- Mentor and support the professional growth of technical team members across different skill levels
- Identify technical risks early in project delivery and propose mitigation strategies to stakeholders
- Collaborate with project managers and solution architects on technical estimation and delivery planning
- Stay updated on Microsoft’s D365 technical roadmap and recommend adoption of new capabilities where relevant
Requirements & Skills
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 technical development, including prior team leadership
- Strong technical expertise in X++ development for Finance & Operations and Power Platform development practices
- Proven experience in technical solution design, code review processes, and engineering best practices
- Strong people management skills, including task delegation, mentoring, and performance feedback
- Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical direction
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies in a technical leadership capacity
- Sound understanding of DevOps practices and deployment pipelines relevant to D365 environments
- Strong decision-making skills under project timelines and resource constraints
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience leading a technical team across X++ and/or Power Platform projects
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer or Power Platform certifications are highly preferred
- Willingness to work full-time from our Gurgaon office and coordinate directly with on-site client teams
