This role is suited for graduates who have foundational knowledge of both Java-based backend development and front-end web technologies and are looking to build a well-rounded full stack development career. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining both client-facing (frontend) and server-side (backend) components of web applications
- Write Java-based backend logic for handling application data and business rules
- Support the development of user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React or Angular)
- Help integrate frontend applications with backend REST APIs
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning as part of an Agile development team
- Test application functionality across different browsers and devices
- Document code and assist in maintaining technical documentation for the projects you work on
Requirements & Skills
- Solid understanding of Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming principles
- Basic exposure to frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with at least one frontend framework or library (React.js or Angular) is preferred but not mandatory
- Basic understanding of how REST APIs work and how frontend applications consume backend data
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
- Basic SQL and database knowledge for handling data storage and retrieval
- Strong logical reasoning and willingness to learn full stack development practices
- Ability to work independently in a remote work setup while staying engaged with the team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related discipline
- Personal projects, internships, or coursework involving full stack development will be an added advantage
- Any relevant online certification (Java, React, full stack web development) is a plus
- Open to fresh graduates as well as candidates who have completed relevant bootcamps or training programs
