Key Responsibilities

• Lead the configuration and implementation of SAP Asset Accounting (FI-AA) as part of a larger SAP FI implementation project at the client site in Gurgaon
• Set up and configure Chart of Depreciation, Depreciation Areas, Asset Classes, and Account Determination to align with the client’s fixed asset management policies
• Configure asset lifecycle processes, including asset acquisition, retirement, intra-company and inter-company transfers, and period-end depreciation runs
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP FI-AA and related modules, including General Ledger (FI-GL), Controlling (CO), and Materials Management (MM) where applicable
• Support data migration activities, including mapping and uploading legacy asset data into the SAP system during the preparation and migration phases
• Conduct business process workshops with client stakeholders to gather requirements, present configuration options, and confirm design decisions
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, including Business Blueprint documents, functional specifications, and configuration workbooks
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scripts, resolving issues raised during testing, and ensuring configurations meet business requirements
• Deliver end-user training sessions and prepare training materials to support successful go-live adoption
• Provide post-go-live support and resolve asset accounting issues during the stabilization phase of the project

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on SAP FI Asset Accounting (FI-AA) configuration experience
• Strong knowledge of Chart of Depreciation setup, Depreciation Areas, Asset Classes, and Account Determination configuration
• Practical experience with the full asset lifecycle within SAP, including acquisition, retirement, transfer, and depreciation run execution
• Sound understanding of integration between FI-AA and SAP General Ledger (FI-GL), Controlling (CO), and Materials Management (MM)
• Hands-on experience supporting data migration for asset data, including legacy asset upload using AS91 or similar tools
• Experience conducting business requirement workshops and translating requirements into SAP configuration
• Strong documentation skills, including Blueprint preparation, configuration workbooks, and functional specifications
• Proven ability to support UAT and deliver end-user training in a client-facing environment
• Willingness and ability to work full-time at the client site in Gurgaon for the duration of the implementation project

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a background in Computer Applications is also acceptable
• Demonstrated experience on at least one full SAP FI Asset Accounting implementation project from Blueprint to Go-live
• SAP FI or SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is a strong added advantage
• Prior experience working on-site at client locations in a consulting or implementation capacity
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Asset Accounting (New Asset Accounting) is preferred
