Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code under the guidance of senior developers
- Assist in developing, testing, and debugging Java-based modules for ongoing client projects
- Participate in code reviews to learn industry-standard coding practices and design principles
- Work with relational databases to perform basic CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations
- Collaborate with QA and senior developers to identify and fix bugs during the development lifecycle
- Document technical work, including code comments and basic functional specifications
- Continuously learn new Java frameworks, libraries, and tools as guided by the engineering team
Requirements & Skills
- Strong understanding of Core Java fundamentals, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts such as inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, and encapsulation
- Basic knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms (arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, sorting and searching techniques)
- Familiarity with Java Collections Framework (ArrayList, HashMap, HashSet, etc.)
- Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
- Exposure to any Integrated Development Environment (IDE) such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA
- Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Strong willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot
- Good communication skills to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA or equivalent)
- Any Java certification or completed training course is an added advantage
- Personal or academic projects demonstrating Java programming skills will be positively considered
