Key Responsibilities
- Learn and apply backend development concepts using Java and J2EE technologies
- Assist senior developers in building and maintaining backend services and APIs
- Work with relational databases to understand schema design and query optimization basics
- Use Git for version control and participate in collaborative code development
- Support the testing and debugging of backend modules under supervision
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Gradually take ownership of small backend tasks and modules as skills develop
Requirements & Skills
- Good understanding of Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming, and Java fundamentals (J2EE basics are a plus)
- Basic knowledge of version control tools, particularly Git

- Basic SQL skills and understanding of relational database management systems

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline
- Academic projects or internship experience related to backend development is a strong plus
- Any Java-related certification or completed online course will be considered favorably
- Open to recent graduates as well as candidates from non-traditional educational backgrounds with demonstrable Java skills
