Key responsibilities
- Design and develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Implement inter-service communication over REST and messaging
- Containerise applications with Docker for consistent deployment
- Work with DevOps on deployment and orchestration
- Troubleshoot across distributed services in development and production
- Contribute documentation on service architecture and APIs
Requirements & skills
- Minimum 2 years, with practical microservices exposure
- Strong Java and Spring Boot
- Docker and basic containerisation
- RESTful API design for service-to-service communication
- Kafka or RabbitMQ an advantage
- Understanding of data consistency and fault tolerance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related
- At least one microservices application in production
- Kubernetes exposure a plus, not mandatory
- Agile team experience preferred
